making ecocide a prosecutable crime like crimes against humanity

About Rosie

I am not an activist. I am interested in the conservation of law - true law , the universal laws as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I believe in the laws that protect us from Crimes Against Peace such as War as an Act of Aggression and Genocide. Alongside those, I wish to see Ecocide become the 5th International Law of Peace. That legislation would recognise crimes against the environment, most frequently acting as a deterrent to potential but unintentional transgressions. If we choose to ignore these essential truths, the questions is not if, but when and which of Humankind's own actions will bring about the destruction of this beautiful planet and her children of all forms. If we focus on the pursuit of human rights and earth rights then Mother Earth, ourselves and all our relations may yet survive and flourish in greater harmony than ever before. It's a remarkably simple choice. So no, I am not an activist. I am a conservationist.
